Quick fixes

Something not working?

The usual suspects, and what to do about them.

The card doesn't show on Android.

Open TripChecker and look at the status at the top: it should say Live. If it says Off, tap Accessibility settings and turn TripChecker on. Then go online in Uber or Lyft and wait for an offer — or try Practice offer on the Home tab first.

Why does Android ask for Accessibility?

It's how Android lets one app read what another app shows. TripChecker uses it to read the offers in Uber Driver and Lyft Driver, and looks at no other app.

“Start reading offers” does nothing on iPhone.

Open Control Center, press and hold Screen Recording, pick TripChecker and tap Start Broadcast. The red pill at the top of the screen means it's reading.

The broadcast stopped in the middle of a shift.

iOS stops a screen broadcast that uses too much memory. Settings → Troubleshooting in TripChecker shows how much the reader has left. Start it again from the app or from Control Center.

The card read an offer wrong.

Email us a screenshot of the offer with the card on it, and say which phone and which driver app. If you can, add the troubleshooting log from Settings — street names are hidden in it.
